At BaselWorld 2010 the Swiss techno duo “Yello” performed and donated its fee to a charitable project in Burma. The money is being used to build two wells for the Monastery of Kyet Pha Mwe Zuang Village in Burma. These wells, which willguarantee the village the whole year with clean drinking water, will be built by a ...competent local organization and also enclude a pumping station. The collected water can be made available to the local population for a small fee. Thisadditonal income can be used to fund the local school’s long-term finances while also promoting the responsible use of fresh water.
